Making a statement under Rule 110 in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on September 2, Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced drinking water projects worth about ₹4,800 crore and said his government would withdraw cases registered against farmers and teachers who held peaceful protests during the previous DMK government.
Chief Minister C.
