Thalaivar campaigns among the people of Puducherry

TVK's campaign extended into the Union Territory of Puducherry, addressing the long-standing demand for full statehood. The Puducherry State Executive Committee opened the rally; alliance partners closed the dais sequence before Vijay's address.

The case for statehood was framed in fiscal terms: a UT cannot independently set its development priorities, and the Centre's discretionary clearances slow implementation cycles. TVK committed to back the statehood movement at the Union level.

The address also touched on Puducherry's coastal-erosion challenge, slotting into the broader Coastal Resilience Authority framework promised in the manifesto.
