PWD Minister Aadhav Arjuna, addressing a public function on Friday, made a direct and unapologetic statement about TVK's strategy of welcoming senior AIADMK leaders and legislators into the party fold.
He said the people of Tamil Nadu had mandated a new era of governance and that all leaders who believe in Vijay's vision of transparent, inclusive governance are welcome to join TVK, regardless of their earlier party affiliations.
Aadhav Arjuna defended the AIADMK defections as a democratic expression of political realignment, and said TVK would continue to grow as Tamil Nadu's dominant political force.
His remarks were seen as a direct message to AIADMK's remaining leaders that TVK's door remains open, even as EPS and Velumani attempt to stabilise the party.
