Kerala CM Satheesan's Delhi visit and PM Modi meeting — political coordination watched ahead of back-to-back visits with CM Vijay
Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan's first official meeting with PM Modi on May 26 comes days before CM Vijay's own Delhi visit, with both non-NDA Chief Ministers' back-to-back visits drawing political attention given the strong Congress alliance ties connecting both states.

Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan is scheduled to hold his first official meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, May 26, in New Delhi.
Satheesan arrived in Delhi on Friday for a series of high-level meetings with Congress leaders, is expected to return to Kochi briefly before flying back for the PM meeting.
With CM Vijay also confirmed to visit Delhi this week, the back-to-back visits of two non-NDA Chief Ministers — both from states with strong Congress alliance ties — are being closely watched.
Political observers note the visits carry signalling value about regional coordination ahead of both governments' first state budgets and their respective positions on central funding disputes.
Tamil Nadu's pending central fund demands and Kerala's fiscal issues with the Centre are expected to be key themes of both visits.
