Thousands of Tamil Nadu parents and students who topped the recently declared SSLC and HSC public examinations are eagerly awaiting CM Vijay's announcement of the state-level Educational Excellence Awards ceremony.
Under previous governments, this ceremony — at which the state's top scorers are honoured by the Chief Minister in a grand public event — has been a prestigious annual tradition.
TVK sources indicated that CM Vijay is personally keen to make the awards ceremony a grand and inclusive event, reflecting his government's focus on education as a priority.
An announcement is expected within the coming week once the government's calendar is finalised following the recently completed cabinet expansion.
Parents from across Tamil Nadu, including those from rural districts, have been inquiring about the ceremony date through government helplines and social media channels.
