CM Vijay's first Delhi visit confirmed this week — to meet PM Modi, President Murmu, Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman

Joseph Vijay is set to make his first official trip to New Delhi since assuming office, with meetings planned with President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to present a memorandum on pending central funds.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is scheduled to visit New Delhi this week in his first official trip to the national capital since assuming office.
According to sources, Vijay is expected to meet President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The CM is expected to submit a detailed memorandum highlighting Tamil Nadu's financial requirements, including pending central allocations, compensation dues, and assistance under various schemes.
He is also likely to meet Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan and may hold meetings with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and senior leader Sonia Gandhi.
Preparations are underway at the Tamil Nadu Government Guest House in New Delhi, including renovation of the Chief Minister's suite and conference hall ahead of the visit.
The visit comes as both Tamil Nadu and Kerala Chief Ministers are set for back-to-back meetings with PM Modi this week, drawing political attention given both states' Congress alliance ties.
