CM Vijay to Share Stage with PM Modi in Chennai on October 11
Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is set to share a stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chennai on October 11, their first joint public appearance since Vijay took office, when the Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the first operational section of Chennai Metro Phase II.

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is scheduled to share the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chennai on October 11, according to news reports published on September 30.
It will be the first joint public appearance of the two leaders since Vijay assumed office as Chief Minister.
The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the first operational section of Chennai Metro Phase II, the 14.64-km stretch between Poonamallee and Vadapalani, which has 11 elevated stations and has received clearance from the Commissioner of Railway Safety.
Reports say the Prime Minister is also expected to travel by Metro from Poonamallee to Porur, and his itinerary may include a visit to IIT Madras and the inauguration of other development projects.
