Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026: 94.31% pass; girls outperform boys at 96.47%; 5,171 schools score 100%
Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026 results declared by School Education Minister Rajmohan: overall pass rate 94.31%, with girls at 96.47% outperforming boys at 92.15%. A total of 5,171 schools including 1,931 government schools achieved 100% pass rate. Schools reopen June 1.

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department announced the Class 10 SSLC Public Examination Results 2026, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.31%. A total of 8,21,105 students passed the SSLC examination this year. The results showed that girl students performed better than boys in the Tamil Nadu Class 10 public exams.
The pass percentage among girls stood at 96.47%, while boys recorded 92.15%. A total of 5,171 schools achieved 100% pass rate in Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026, of which 1,931 are government schools.
The results were formally declared by School Education Minister Rajmohan at a press conference at 9:30 AM. Minister Rajmohan also confirmed that schools across Tamil Nadu would reopen on June 1 after the summer vacation.
