As Tamil Nadu marks one month of TVK rule, DMK president MK Stalin released a sharp press statement challenging CM Vijay to show concrete governance outcomes.
Stalin pointed out that the CM's Delhi visit yielded no confirmed financial commitments from the Centre — no GST dues announced, no PM SHRI education funds released, and no written assurance on Tamil Thai Vazhthu protocol.
He questioned whether the government's much-publicised first month was "governance by press release."
Stalin also announced that the DMK will convene its State General Council in June to strategise for the upcoming urban local body elections and to plan its response to TVK's first-year governance.
