Director H. Vinoth and KVN Productions confirmed picture lock on Vijay's 69th and final film, Jana Nayagan, at a closed industry preview held in Chennai overnight.
Composer Anirudh Ravichander finalised mastering on the eight-track Thalapathy Kacheri album, releasing in full alongside the theatrical premiere in May 2026. Two singles are already in circulation; the remaining six will surface in a coordinated drop across audio platforms on release morning.
The film opens worldwide in over 7,000 screens — the widest opening of any Tamil release. International release calendars in North America, Malaysia, Singapore and the Gulf are aligned to the same May 2026 date.
