CM Vijay Tours Sriperumbudur-Oragadam Industrial Corridor, Visits Saint-Gobain, SIPCOT and Daimler Buses
Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay toured major manufacturing units in the Sriperumbudur-Oragadam industrial corridor on August 3, including Saint-Gobain's World Glass Complex, the SIPCOT project office and the Daimler Buses India plant, to review industrial infrastructure and investment support measures.

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay toured the Sriperumbudur-Oragadam industrial corridor on August 3, visiting major manufacturing units to review industrial infrastructure and discuss measures to attract fresh investment and create jobs.
His first stop was Saint-Gobain India Private Limited's World Glass Complex at Irungattukottai near Sriperumbudur, one of the company's key manufacturing units in the country, where he interacted with company officials.
Vijay then visited the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) project office at Mambakkam, where officials briefed him on infrastructure in the industrial estates and steps being taken to support existing industries and prospective investors.
He concluded the tour at Oragadam with a visit to the Daimler Buses India manufacturing facility, one of the corridor's major automotive plants.
