CM Vijay pays tribute to Pandit Iyothee Thass on 181st birth anniversary — TVK ministers join at Gandhi Mandapam
Tamil Nadu CM C. Joseph Vijay paid floral tribute to pioneering anti-caste reformer Pandit Iyothee Thass at Gandhi Mandapam in Chennai on his 181st birth anniversary, joined by TVK ministers and senior leaders. MK Stalin and TN Congress President K. Selvaperunthagai also paid independent tributes at the same venue.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay paid a floral tribute to social reformer Pandit Iyothee Thass, who was a pioneering anti-caste thinker, on the occasion of his 181st birth anniversary at Gandhi Mandapam in Chennai on Wednesday. Several state ministers and senior leaders of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) also joined the Chief Minister in honouring the philosopher and reformer.
MK Stalin and Tamil Nadu Congress President K. Selvaperunthagai also independently paid tributes at the same venue, reflecting the social reformer's continued significance across party lines.
