CM Vijay conducted his first official post-oath visit to Tiruchirapalli on Sunday (May 31) — the district where he won the Trichy East Assembly constituency in the 2026 elections.
The CM inaugurated key projects including urban infrastructure improvements and welfare scheme distribution events in the district.
Heavy security was in place; public entry was restricted for security reasons.
The visit — coming exactly 21 days after taking oath on May 10 — reinforces CM Vijay's commitment to personally oversee development in his own constituency.
Vijay also won the Perambur (Chennai) constituency but chose Trichy East as his primary seat.
