Hareesh Peradi joins ‘Thalapathy 61’
Hareesh Peradi, the talent Malayalam actor who is best known to Tamil audiences for his performance as an upright immigration officer in Aandavan Kattaalai is the latest addition in Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film with director Atlee. Currently, team Thalapathy 61 including Kajal Aggarwal and Vadivelu are in Macedonia for shooting important talkie portions of the film. Touted to be a revenge action thriller, Vijay will be seen playing triple roles in the film, which also has Nithya Menon, Samantha, SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Sathyan, and Kovai Sarala in important roles.
Produced by Murali Ramasamy of Sri Thenandal Films, AR Rahman is composing the music for the film, which is slated to release for Diwali 2017. The yet-untitled film’s first look and title will be revealed on Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s birthday (June 22) and a grand audio launch will be happening in August.
The Tamil films producer Council have already announced that from May 30th the film industry will go on an indefinite strike to curb piracy. This has made quite a number of Production houses to shift their marketing and release dates to avoid conflicts. The title of Vijay’s next film with Atlee will have a date probably by may 28 or even earlier. This is really good news for Vijay fans as they have been waiting for some concrete news.
Reliable sources say that the films title was supposed to be unveiled much earlier but Vijay did not want to have a clash with Ajith’s Vivegam and they had to postpone it to the month end. Thalapathy 61 will see Vijay sporting 3 new avatars and have Oscar winner A R Rahman composing the music. The film also has Nithya Menon, Samantha and Kajal playing as the leading ladies.
