‘Vijay 60’: Aparna Vinod play the second female lead
Malayali actress Aparna Vinod is the latest addition to the cast of Vijay’s upcoming movie. The actress has signed on the dotted lines recently to play the second female lead in the flick, which has Keerthy Suresh playing the role of Ilayathalapathy’s love interest.
Aparna Vinod has claimed that she never expected to bag such a big film and she is happy to be working with Ilayathalapathy in the film, which is currently being referred to as “Vijay 60.” She is raring to join the shoot.
Talking about the role, she said,
“I play a village belle, a vital character that will carry the story forward.” However, the actress has refused to give away more information about her character in “Vijay 60.”
Aparna Vinod further adds that she always wished to work in Kollywood in a lead role. But she does not have any regret to be doing the second female lead as her role has good importance in “Vijay 60.”
There are reports saying that the first look poster and title of Vijay 60 will be revealed on June 22, birthday of Ilayathalapathy Vijay.
And Another exciting buzz floating around is that the film will be titled ‘Enga Veetu Pillai’ the most popular movie of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR.
‘Vijay 60’ is produced by Vijaya Productions who also bankrolled ‘Enga Veetu Pillai’ which gives credence to the unconfirmed news. The film directed by Bharathan has Vijay in dual roles romancing Keerthi Suresh and Aparna Vinod with Jagapathy Babu, Daniel Balaji, Sathish and Sriman in the cast.
